When we are crippled, we use the crutch to support us. With the crutch's support, we slowly regain our balance and strength to walk. Then, once we are fully fit and don't need the crutch any more, we throw it away.
Are we being ungrateful to the crutch in not using it any more? Or are we repaying the crutch back in kind by fulfilling the very purpose of the crutch in enabling us to walk straight and properly?
PS: I was prompted to write this bit after reading about some people suggesting that the BJP should dissociate itself from the RSS, though the analogy is not entirely relevant.

Enna irundhaalum Andy oda remote control story maari oru impact ille da... :P

Firstly, replace this
"we through it away" ???
Secondly,
Are the people who suggested this asinine theory messers Sardesai, Prannoy Roy and N Ram ?
RSS is old ideology da...it clicked that time but its no use talking abt it now when recession has hit da.......as u had mentioned RSS is like the crutch...BJP should have thrown it away long back but they r still clinging on to it.......building Ram Temple and holding to Hindutva principles wont take them any further da.......i was disaapointed by BJP's campaign da......Bad luck for Advani but they have none to blame but themseleves.....I hope Modi's surge through and development plans will help them win next time and elevate Modi to PM post.....
@ Tejaswi - Why in the world would messrs Sardesai, Roy & Ram suggest anything at all for the betterment of BJP?
@ Whencut - There are a million reasons why BJP lost this time. Each reason can be pointed out and said as "Yeah, this is why they lost" and it would be correct, but not correct enough. BJP did not portray any more hard-core Hindutva this time than they did before. So attributing the defeat to Ram Mandir and Hindutva is probably not fair, they focussed on a lot of issues, but didn't have a single focus. Anyhow, that's not the issue. My analogy is what was supposed to be the issue. :P Whatever, let's see what BJP does in these 5 years.
